Habitat for Humanity

CAHPI(BC) Charity Fund

The CAHPI(BC) Charity Fund for BC Children's Hospital was developed in March, 2009. With thanks to CAHPI(BC) members' generosity, we had a balance of $6,194.00 in our Charity Fund which allowed us to attend the Miracle Weekend on June 4, 2011 and presented the Children's Hospital with a cheque for $5,000.00 on behalf of the CAHPI(BC) Charity Fund.

We have also developed a CAHPI(BC) Charity Logo recognizing CAHPI(BC) members as proud sponsors of BC Children's Hospital. A $100.00 minimum donation will allow you to use this logo in your advertising. www.cahpi.bc.ca

Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation - Run for the Cure

With thanks to many CAHPI National, CAHPI Atlantic members, familiy and friends generosity, we donated $520.00.

National Executive Director, Sharry Featherston (right) participated in the Run for the Cure October 2, 2011 in Ottawa.

Each year, thousands of Canadians are touched by breast cancer. It not only impacts the individuals living with the disease, but their families, friends and loved ones as well. At the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation, we are working to create a future without breast cancer. With the support of thousands of volunteers, the generosity of donors and over 70 corporate partners, we are funding some of the most-relevant breast cancer research programs in the country.  www.cbcf.org
